all those important immunizations also contain every ingredient my kid is allergic to except for MAYBE banana.
Is that safe ??
Isnt it contradicting to get immunizations when we have all this No smoking change of the world going on why are all the ingredients from a cigarette in our kids immunizations? Injecting our kid with the filling of a cigarette or monkey brains, and eggs, gluten, msg, and a virus THAT Might be dead or might not be and YOU might have to deal with the consequences when signing a release that you are okay and except the outcome of your child being permanently damaged by this immunization. If it was so safe why do they need me to sign this freakin paper?
Explain that to me... whatever. More thinning the heard. Control. yadayada.
Okay done ranting chow.

Saltine cracker tested and failed.
My 2 year old has been on a diet, gluten free, peanut free, Wheat free... try to keep it yeast free... possibly egg free.
NOW he had good clear skin, not pissed off all day and really kind and manageable.
1 freakin saltine cracker and he is a hellian. screaming, pissed off, RED and itchy and just not happy.
?? huMmMm....
I am testing right now to see if egg baked in the item bothers him now... He is allergic to raw egg but I think he accidently got raw egg to much where it now has developed to the point where the peanut allergy did.
Growing violent..... the allergy... he had a pancake that the egg added in the mix may not have been cooked correctly and he had the emergency visit 2 weeks ago.... I do not know but we will find out.
He is doing great on the Eco Planet oatmeal brown sugar , he likes it and he stays skin clear.... very healthy with many grains like millet and quinoa and amaranth and such...
I found a health food store on classens blv. north oklahoma city, seemed to be cheaper then aikins, lots of discounted products as well, and they have whole turkeys or chicken no hormones, I did not see it when I was in the store but the building has a big sign.
I walked out with 4 bags stuffed full and it was 60.00
I filled my sons cupboard up with plenty of food for a week or two.
I bought a bag of millet I am going to try to puree it and use it to make chicken breading or something out of it.
Or it will be here in case of another ice storm.
We will see. I am seeing a problem with some foods as I would like to know if it contains MSG and it could be hiding listing under Spices. In which case I will have to call the manufacturer if they are willing to answer my questions.
I have noticed all the healthy cereals that are gluten free are processed in a facility with peanuts and wheat and all this crap. What is the point of being gluten free and organic if your cross contaminating. Get over your selves really. just clean up your crap and stop thinning out the freaken heard.

Thursday JAn 21 2010 Recipe Gluten free cooking
Okay today I made my 2 1/2 year old his separate dinner dish. I cooked him Pasta bake.
I used Orgran Rice Vegetable pasta noodles, (gluten free (gf) Egg free (ef?) Yeast free, gmo free(whatever that means). Boiled the noodles,
I used Classico Spaghetti sauce (gluten free, egg free, dairy free)
I mixed them together and I personally added some sour cream (gluten free I think, all natural) and cheese and John Morell all beef frank hotdogs (gluten free, msg free) mixed together and baked for a bit.
It worked, you can make this without the dairy products, I did see cheese in the oranic fridge area that was made out of veggies... didnt look to close But i am going to look into this cheese alternative for the next time.
This can be cooked for no eggs, no gluten, no wheat, no msg people.

First Week Gluten Free testing week, Peanut free, egg free, wheat free ~ Celiac diet?
This is what I started with for allergen free eating.
First I bought Eco Planet Oatmeal in maple brown sugar. This is gluten free, egg free, dairy free and no msg that I am aware of and NOT processed in a cross contaminate facility. (they have other flavor choices plus plain. I would mix some baby veggies into the plain oatmeal for a safe and healthy lunch)
Then I found Ian's Chicken Nuggets at the health food store (here it is called Akins health food store okc)
The chicken nuggest are gluten free (claims the package)
My kid ate them and did not have red cheeks afterward.
I also found some Orgran Veggie Rice Pasta noodles
Egg free, Gmo? free, Yeast Free, wheat free, dairy free.
(I found @ health food store akins also on Amazon.com)
Got some brown rice bread.... yeah... eeew. By EnerG.... it was freakin gross. My kids did not like it at all. So...I would pass on the 6.00 on that loaf.
My kid had a better attitude just from starting our day with the oatmeal and chicken nuggets alone. He was not screaming, itchy, or red. He was clear skinned and calm....
The last 2 days he has been screaming and the usual, but he had a Ritz cracker 2 days in a row... So I am wondering I think I need to stick with the celiac diet... I hope he does not have this disease but the diet seems to be good for him.... We will find out.
Today I found some stuff at the Commissary... military grocery store....which some of these I found are known brands at your local grocery store, most likely.
John morrel Bistro Naturals all beef franks
No nitrates (only from the sea salt) No Gluten, No added Msg.
These are pretty tasty. As usual brings on the heartburn 4 me.
Hormel Natural Choice 100% natural deli meat Ham & turkey
no preservatives, no added msg, Raised with no hormones, no artificial stuff and Gluten Free.
Clissico Spagehtti sauce Fire roasted Tomato and garlic Sauce
Gluten free, all natural, no preservatives, Not sure about msg jar does say spices in ingredients which could mean msg of some sort.
When I was buying mac and cheese (walmart brand) One day it is processed with peanuts the next time I go it is not and the next trip it magically is processed with peanuts again.
So my suggestion to everyone and anyone with a CHILD with SEVERE food allergies, READ EVERY LABEL.
Also do not feel stupid when asking to read a label even at a restaraunt, you will feel worse if you go off someones word and your kid ends up dead.
I asked 2 waiters if cheesecake contained peanuts, I was told no, my kid almost died. I went back and asked again to see the label and spoke to the manager, He read the label in front of me and still said no peanuts. I took the label and read for a while and finally at the bottom it said May contain peanuts. Always read labels and ask if they cross contaminate food at all with the allergen food in question.
Just some extra advice.
Food Allergies? Now what?
Food Allergies? Now what?
~So the 2 year old is severely allergic to everyday foods.
Everything is cross contaminated/ processed in a factory that processes peanuts, eggs, dairy, soy, ect. The Macaroni and Cheese I bought, cereals, oatmeal, I have to change everything! Mac and cheese I switched from walmart generic to Kraft then walmart changed where they processed and then changed again.
Cheese cake from tgi fridays apparently has peanuts in it. So avoiding peanuts is hard but do able. Avoiding Eggs, Wheat and Gluten in foods is almost impossible.
My son displays irritable behavior, itchy eczema skin, red flushed cheeky skin and forehead. He wandered around the house like he is missing something. It was very weird. He has been to the emergency room 3 times and stabbed with the Epi Pen twice, in the last 6 months or so. Before knowing he was allergic to Peanuts, we had been giving him benedryl for any unusual puffiness. We never seen allergic reactions before. My son gradually had worse and worse reactions to things.
One time he had peanut butter he was red and irritated, rashy. The next time it was puffy/ swollen, red, rashy, barfing. The next his lips were swelling up and his eyes puffy he looked like Angelina Jolie. I had just told someone he cannot have peanut butter he is allergic and what do you know, that person gave him peanut butter.
Well benedryl helped...that time.
The next day we went out to TGI fridays, we asked 2 waiters if the cheesecake contained peanuts and they said no. He had a couple bites, was itchy, irritable and red as usual, few minutes later barfing, which was also the same when he eats sometimes. Then he started not breathing correctly.
We were driving around trying to find a walgreens to get some benedryl. Luckily we found the Hospital instead. Went through a few red lights and one ways and made it to the Emergency room. He had to stay overnight, he had to have breathing treatments, high doses of "Benedryl", epi penned, lots of things. He had barfed most of it up. The doctors were worried that he had NOT barfed it all up in which case could result in another anaphylactic shock episode.
The next emergency visit and epi pen administrating, was from the boy grabbing an english muffin his sister was eating with peanut butter on it and tasting it.
I epi penned him, which you should know sucks. It sucks to stab your kid. Also do not pull it out right away it needs to sit in his leg for a few more seconds than what you would want. YES the black tip REALLY is where the needle comes out. No kidding. I had my thumb over the black part as when I took the gray cap off it had a little hole that distracted my attention, as in "oh, a hole, this must be where the needle is coming out of or else there would be no gray cap to take off.)
Another visit. Shorter, just observed him they said whatever I did must have cured him...hence (epi pen)...third visit Haha no peanut butter this time... He was eating Pancakes.... hummm eggs?? He is allergic to egg but can eat cookies with egg in it, however he did react to a cookie from the "great american cookie factory" or something like that. A sugar cookie, I thought maybe it had traces of peanuts.
But now...humm.. possibly eggs/ He got another stab of epi pen this time hubby had to do it (nothing like stabbing your son with an epi pen to take what he eats or what wifey poo says seriously) So then at hospital got 10 doses of hospital benedryl, and observed for 3 hours.
The reaction starts like this. Redness all over (peanuts he starts to swell ) he gets hives on wrists, neck, belly, then after the hives and screaming and rash on legs he starts the violent barfing.
So after this the husband started to get more serious and believing me when I say he has sensitivities to more than just peanuts and eggs as he DOES not want to stab his kid with an epi pen again.
He gets red and itchy from waffles, bread, oatmeal, pasta, dairy, ect.
He definitely cannot have Peanuts or eggs, bananas and gerber rice cereal or oatmeal.
HumMmmMm
I said to myself What NOW? Every fast food place, all the groceries we buy and eat are cross contaminated, or has the ingredient in it. Wheat, eggs, dairy, peanuts and so on.
So how could this be managed? How can a person live like this? How do you even cook for this? Its not very affordable either. My family also has decided to stay away from MSG/ mono sodium Glutamate. That is nearly impossible to stay away from either it is in everything we grew up on for one. Its so unhealthy and fattening and destroys your body slowly and CREATES the FAT CELL!!!!!! Creates it you will never be able to get rid of this cell unless you get the cell removed by lipo. JUST a friendly FYI.
So I decided to put the kid on a Celiac Disease Diet. Not life threatening strict, but to see what will happen...
He is going to the allergy specialist soon...if they even help ( which is a story all in itself.)
I think doctors are a waste of time. Besides them giving my kid 10 doses of benedyl, all they do is harass a parent. A different story another time.
SOOOOoooOoo
Monday I started him on Eco Planet Oatmeal- maple brown sugar- gluten free- dairy free~
I think it is also egg free....??
He actually eats it, it looks weird to me, but I am new to this gluten free world.
They have 3 flavors, and i would totally get the plain flavor and add baby food sweet potatoes or green beans to it so he gets ....whatever he gets from the added veggies.
But the oatmeal is SUPER healthy just a bunch of different grains such as
millet, and amaranth, quinoa?, brown rice and buckwheat and a few others. Its certified Gluten free. The gluten free world labels this GF for gluten free...FYI..
